12/11/25: Eve co-led a session on projecting NJ children from waterborne lead in their schools alongside The Watershed Institute’s JoLynn Moloughney and Jersey Water Works’ Heather Sorge at the Jersey Water Works 2025 Conference.

12/09/25: Jennie was a panelist and presented on her ongoing research at the Rural Water Supply Network webinar Rapid corrosion of handpumps - can we finally address this issue? with colleagues from across Europe and Africa.

12/03/25 and 11/18/25: Sid presented findings from our new paper on addressing waterborne Pb in rural LMIC systems to the Rural Water Supply Network’s Stop the Rot Action Group (December) and Rutgers Department of Human Ecology (November seminar).

10/30/25: Conference: Sid participated in a Side Event organized by the Global Lead Free Water Initiative at the UNC Water and Health Conference 2025.
10/23/25: Charlene led our efforts at the Lead Free Expo in Chester, PA, to publicize our ongoing study and conduct real-time lead testing for community members. (Thank you, NIEHS and Penn Medicine, for funding this work!)

10/02/25: The University of Washington RAPID facility sent us their Bruker XRF to conduct a laboratory challenge study. Eve and Charlene had a grand time running a between-device comparison with our lab’s in-house Vanta XRF. Photos to come. (Thank you, NIEHS and Penn Medicine, for funding this work! And thank you, Jaq and colleagues from RAPID and NSF/NIH, for providing researchers nationwide with inexpensive access to cutting-edge instrumentation.)

09/30/25: Eve led our team at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection’s Listening session at Eva’s Village in Paterson to publicize our ongoing flooding research and recruit participants. (Thank you, USGS, for funding this research!)
