PhD in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering

Status: Not currently accepting new PhD students.

For future consideration:
Candidates with degrees, research experience, or professional background in environmental science, environmental engineering, civil engineering, chemistry, or related fields are encouraged to inquire about future opportunities.

Application process:
Interested candidates must apply to and be admitted into the Rutgers Environmental Science graduate program before an assistantship can be offered. PhD students receive five years of guaranteed funding (subject to adequate performance).

Master’s Degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering
